WAR AND PEACE, VOLUME 1 AUDIOBOOK
Leo Tolstoy had to do a lot of research for this book as the Napoleonic period in Russia was not given a lot of time by the authors of that era. There were some things in the form of journals that got published but they too lacked the original details that would be able to provide a clear picture. Tolstoy reached many of his friends for a different material that could be extracted out of their libraries.

Also, the author on one point especially wrote a letter to his sister-in-law for some help in the collection of some material for his book. The help came after some time but it was not ample to form a complete book out of it in a flash. There is a problem with such topics i.e you cannot add something on your own because the listener needs proper facts and figures in historic work.
All the themes like love, ambition, and enmity can be seen in this book and they existed for real in this world. Neville Jason just tries to keep everything well clear for the audience through narration as a dramatic voice was not needed at all in historical work.

Anna Karenina type of books can also decorate your day if you like to listen to some serious things. High drama and the story of a couple are hard to find in books like this because it is not a fairytale that we are listening to. Though Tolstoy was not able to provide a lot of hard facts in the book, still the authentic material which the book provides can reveal several things.
