OMG. This is totally the hottest book I have read. Selena Kitt knows how to reach into your most private and most titillating thoughts. I should be ashamed but I’m not. You see I read this on my Kindle and no one knows that I had a smutty, filthy book in my hands. Thank God. And speaking of God, this book hits on my Catholic school history and all those illicit thoughts we had about boys and men and oh yes, priests. We were just normal girls attending an all-girls high school with all the normal teenage sexual needs and trying to understand it all. So yeah, this book hits a few triggers but then I could go to confession and it will all be well again. Anyway back to this book. It was a well written book with great characters. There is our main character, Leah and her best friend, Erica and then threesome is completed by Erica’s father Rob aka Robert Nolan aka Mr. Nolan. Have to say I really enjoyed having sex with Mr. Nolan but not so much Rob. When it is taboo it is so much more special, right? I can understand the confusion that Leah and Erica are having over all the sex stuff they have uncovered under Mr. Nolan’s bed. A must read.

So I’m a bit at a loss for words. Reading that last page I feel like I should hate this book, problem is, I didn’t. Damn it was hot. Like, get me all riled up hot. I’m not usually into f/f scenes but there was just something about these girls. No inhibitions…not being embarrassed about making themselves feel good in front of each other (you know masterbating, but I kind of hate that word) I mean, I could never! But it sure was exciting to read. The Mr. Nolan thing didn’t really bother me. I guess it’s kind of bitchy to do to your best friend but the age difference didn’t seem too pervy to me. Now with that said, I guess the original version was WAY pervy. I’m glad I didn’t read it first because I probably would’ve hated Rob. Well maybe…sometimes no matter how good you want to be, sometimes you’re just bad…in a good way

Audiobook Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed (Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed #1) by Selena Kitt
Holy cow. This is probably the closet to the erotica genre as one can get. The story; which takes place in the 1950s, follows the lives of Leah, Erica, and Rob (aka Mr. Nolan). Leah and Erica are best friends and have spent most of their lives together. When they find a photography studio under Mr. Nolans bed (who is also Ericas father) their lives begin to change in exotic and erotic ways.
This story is pretty good and I have to say Selena Kitt has QUITE the imagination. This story of course is considered taboo as it involves a friend falling in love (and lust) with her best friends father. Of course, the book is taboo in more than one way but youll have to read it to find out! Selena Kitt is a good writer and her story flows easily. Its not a long read luckily because once you dive into this book you wont be able to put it down until youre finished. The only issue I had with this book is the way the girls acted. One would think they are 14 year old girls but this in fact is not true. They are both in college! Youll see what I mean when you read it!
Only those who are 18+ should read this one as it contains MATURE content.
Overall Rating: 4.2 Stars
Would I Recommend: To fans of taboo erotica and those 18+
Would I Read Again: Yup, its one of my favorites

Audio Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed (Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed #1) narrated by Holly Hackett
I read somewhere there was an original version of this book that can’t be sold on Amazon due to it’s taboo nature, but I would really like to read it…if nothing else for comparison sake.
That being said if you like tons and I do mean tons of steamy steamy scenes, oh boy this book is for you. If you have a problem with anything slightly taboo (although that isn’t the word I am looking for but can’t find another word right now) then this book is not for you.
Here’s what I didn’t like: I really didn’t love that it was set in back in a different time period. I hope I don’t say this wrong but I want to say it was set in the 1950’s….so that being said pretty much everything in this book would have been taboo. The other thing I didn’t care for was i believe the girls in the book, Erica and Leah were not quite 21…they were out of high school and sort of college age although they weren’t in college, so they were sort of in a school between high school and college (hope I don’t have this wrong), but I really felt like I was reading about girls much younger than they were. Again maybe for the time period that is what girls this age were like but I felt like I was reading about 15 to 16 year olds instead of 19 to 20 year olds. So that was kind of annoying to me.
If you want a super shocking ending this book delivers cause I was shocked. I mean I literally was looking around the room with my mouth hanging open and “Oh my god” spilling out…I swear I did that, closed my mouth and did it again.
It’s a good book as long as you aren’t easily offended and want tons of sex scenes.

Nobody writes erotica like Selena Kitt and this story is no exception, but I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped I would.
I am a big fan of Selena Kitt’s erotic novels and ‘Under Mr Nolan’s Bed’ revised version in particular. I’ve also read the original version of ‘Under Mr Nolan’s Bed’. The difference between these two versions is that in the original version, Mr Nolan is Erica’s father but in the revised version he is her step father. This becomes important once they all begin to get busy later in the book. I know it’s all a fantasy, but father/daughter incest was way too much for me. Ew. Without spoiling the story, the ending was also changed between the original and the revised version to a happy ever after, which suited me just fine.
In this latest version, the action happens in the 1950s, a more innocent time. Not for this family. The sex scenes in this were sublime, hot and a real turn on. The relationship between Rob and Leah was developed further in this story and I really enjoyed reading about a good old romance as well as reading the rude bits. However, some of the really hot threesome scenes from my favorite ‘revised’ version were cut altogether which was my first disappointment. The second disappointment was the ending. Again, without giving away the story, I can’t now see how Rob and Leah can be together now. Ew (again).
Having said that, I eagerly anticipate reading the second and third part of this new version of the story in the hope that some of these details change along the way. And also, frankly, because I am absolutely confident that the sex scenes will be superb, so stuff the story eh?
