A very fast fun read, lots of twists and turns, intrigue and plots. An adventure that captures the story of the Round Table Knights, and twists the story just a little, making it easier to relate to and enjoyable in a more modern setting.

I’m a big fan of Van Coops–first his time travel series, and now this Kingdom of Engines series. His writing always draws me into the story where I lose myself, which is what I always want in any book. War Car is no exception; I only wish the story was bigger. Valerie’s car gets stolen, she goes after it, mayhem and fighting ensue. But again, the writing is great, and I will certainly continue the series.

Audiobook War Car (Kingdom of Engines #2) by Nathan Van Coops
Im a big Nathan Van Coops fan and this one is another winner! The 2nd story in the Kingdom of Engines Series does not disappoint. We have lots of scary bad guys & gals and an exciting pace, as per usual. We also have some awesome heroes (old & new) taking us on an exciting, edge-of-your-seat adventure! Nathan does such a great job describing the people and places that you can literally see & feel the story unfolding. Its hard to say much more without giving away spoilers but the ending was satisfying and left me wanting more at the same time. Cant wait to see whats next. Oh, and Valerie rocks!

Audio War Car (Kingdom of Engines #2) narrated by Jess Nahikian
The second book in this series is even better than the first. The action starts almost immediately and doesn’t let up. And with all that action the author still find a way to fit in character development and several twists that you will not see coming.

War car takes her newest knight to be to the next level in this sequel to Sword Fight. On her way to be knighted hes precious war car is stolen and a chase ensues. With so many turns and bumps along the way I was held captive and could wait to read the next chapter. This race to the king left me holding my breath around every obstacle. I couldnt put it down.
