love the story and mystery hate the abusive sex and controlling boyfriend. Being someone with PTSD the sex abuse was to much and the controling personality to real to be considered a love story. Its very easy for someone to mistake that control for love until they are trapped in an unloving and abusive relationship. It sickens me that women get off on that kind of fantasy when other women are being tortured in real life that way daily.

Oh. My. Goodness! I am flabbergasted! I thought that the first book had an amazing cliffhanger, but I am sitting here with my jaw wide open! I totally never saw that one coming at all.
This book is so incredibly intense, and there were times when Aiden’s actions toward Elsa made me cringe. It is hard to believe that a girl would put up with someone like him no matter how handsome. He was borderline emotionally abusive, but there was something about Aiden that made you want to gravitate towards him. You find out in this book a little of what causes him to act the way he does at times. We also learn a little more of Elsa’s background and the secret to her heart problems.
I love Elsa because even though Aiden was stalking her and being over possessive, she still had this spunk about her. I love how she still fought him even though she lost the majority of the time.
I cannot say enough good things about Shane East and Keira Stevens. Their performances were perfection! I didn’t want the story to end. They were two of the best narrators I’ve ever had the privilege of listening to, but it helps to have an incredible story as well. There are not enough stars to give this book!
