Bridgerton’s family just keeps on producing new male characters for Julia Quinn’s novels. One this is common about all these alpha’s i.e they are rich, handsome and they just don’t want to marry. Marriage seems to be a full stop to their entertaining life that’s why they want to live a life full of charming ladies all around.
Rosalyn Landor has narrated almost all of these novels including Ten Things I Love About You and To Sir Phillip, with Love so the narrator can also be considered an expert in this series. Sophie’s life in the novel has been pathetic, though the girl is the daughter of an earl she never thought that her life would bless her with a prince on her doorstep.

Just when all the hopes were gone she gets the chance to enter the ballroom of Lady Bridgerton. There she meets Benedict Bridgerton in whose arms she just forgets all about her stepmother. The girl surely had a rough life since her childhood but she wanted to seize this one moment that took her to the world of fairytales. After the beautiful night, Benedict wanted to see the girl of his dreams once again so started his quest to find her.

This is more like a Cinderella type of story which the author has written here. However, no fairy godmother in this story is helping the two. The two lovers are on their own and they have to fight for their love against society and their families. No one is helping these poor souls who are desperate about their love life.
