A History of the Middle Ages audiobook free
Very interesting listen. I listened to this book every day on the 40 minute drive to and from work. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I have always wanted to know what in what happened during the dark ages. Also, how did we get from the classical period through the dark ages and into our current age. This book takes you through the dark and middle ages from the point of view of religion, then from the point of view of art, then government, then finance, etc. I came away with an understanding of society then and how it morphed into a society that could eventually become the world we are familiar with. This is much more interesting than the history I learned in high school, ie. names and dates of battles and rulers.
