Guess what, the author of the series Christopher G. Nuttall gives the human race some support in this devastating situation. The allies that the human race is provided with are not strong but they can play a good supporting role under the current circumstances. The alien race which is coming for the earth and its people is surely very strong but reaching the core of the human domain is equally difficult.

They cannot penetrate the core system of the human world without serious effort. Both sides have been waiting for the right time to strike for a very long time but so far they have not been provided with a loophole. Years have passed now and it would have remained like that forever if a human scientist had not come up with a big surprise.

A scientist from the human world makes the jump across the stars much simpler. This means that the human soldiers can jump into the alien world unnoticed and can attack the enemy from behind. The aliens have left their home unguarded which is also an opportunity to defeat them permanently. Vanguard and its crew were waiting for such an opportunity since Vanguard and Fear God and Dread Naught and now they have what they needed.
