Skye Warren writes with such clarity that Dangerous Love Duet is a must read. The characters are believable and you are drawn to the story from the first page. I read this book in one afternoon and just couldn’t put it down. The main character Honor or Honey is a strong woman determined to save her sister from their father and Honors ex boyfriend. She does whatever it takes to keep Clara safe. Even though she isn’t proud of the work she has to do she is doing the best she can considering they are on the run. Kip the main male character is a bad boy but not too bad. He struggles between being a jerk and being ultimately kind. The scenes between them are sensual and keep you waiting for them to resolve their issues. A book well worth you time.

Wow, just wow.my degree is not in Literature or Creative Writing, so I let the plots lay or is it lie where they are; misspelled words make for an exciting 45 sec while I determine what I want them to be, as I more quickly delve into the search for the soul, the essence of a story and for me Skye Warren never fails to deliver. Tough Love did not take me through a path strewn with rose petals; it brought me into a depth of intensity that took several life spans away before I came out on the other side scorched, parts missing and vaguely aware of my surroundings. Most elements of the human experience are presented in this story with colors so intense they drip upon you while you struggle to hold on to some semblance of reality. Phones, food (maybe vino), adults, none of these can shatter my bonding experience with these characters. Powerful read, magnificent story.

Beautifully and Exquisitely Written! Seductive and Entrancing
This is not a pretty flowers and candlelight romance. It’s more a traverse though the more sinister places of reality. A place where you are afraid to hope. Where life and death walk hand and hand every single day. That is where Honor finds herself and we get to read about her life in these pages. She’s not always strong, nor is she always weak. But she will do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves.

Mob story about two sisters Clara and Honor (aka Honey) who live with their father who is a mob boss. He gives Honor away to a dirty cop Byron Adams who is running for police commisioner in Vegas and wants her as his fiance. He does not love her and is very abusive of her with her father’s blind eye permission. Honor puts up with it until she finds out they have plans to give her little fifteen year old sister to the govenor’s son who is also very abusive. Clara and Honor run from Byron and her father with the help of Clara’s boyfriend Gio who helps them get away at his expense. Clara and Honor are on the run and are constantly hunted down, live in dirty motels, and Honor must become a stripper to get money for them to live and hide away. Kip, a secretive stranger comes into the strip joint and makes her both fear and yet have other feelings as well. So
much happens from that point that makes you want to turn the pages quickly to find out what is going to happen. Good exciting read.

My Thoughts…
I enjoyed this duet love story with one being about Clara and Giovanni and the other one featuring
Honor[Honey] and Rip. Both of the stories contained some ‘love, action, honor, hot sexy scenes, suspense, trust, tragedy and so much more.’ The characters were all very defined, well portrayed and believable giving you a well written descriptive captivating story with a good plot that will keep your total attention. This is one of those stories especially the second one had so many twist and turns that you will have to keep up with it all. In the end will Honor be able to save her sister and there be ‘poetic justice’ served? If you are into mafia reads the I definitely would recommend this one to you.
