I have always loved the Valdimar stories. Only wish that collegium was pronounced correctly. After all the word comes from college. It grates against my nerves. I even checked the pronunciation in the dictionary. Otherwise Mr. Woodson does an excellent job with the series. I love Mercedes Lackey\’s Valdemar series the best of all her others.

I have read this book many times and it was a nice reading of the story. however, the reader pronounces words a little differently and my head kept fixing the pronunciation.

Audio Take a Thief narrated by Paul Woodson
I like most of the Valdamar world stories. I laughed at some of the scenes I remembered reading years ago. They were just as funny. The plus side is that these are fun stories. Down side is that the character depth through out the stories varies. This was one of the better ones.
