Dresden Files by Jim Butcher shows the true class of the author in a fictional series. Harry Dresden is a wizard by birth and he is not an ordinary wizard rather he is the only one of his kind left in the universe.
In his mind, he praises himself as a legend whose name is present in the books of magic present in different libraries of Chicago. From the outside or in reality, the truth is that Dresden is living a very miserable life. With nothing proper to do for months, the poor wizard just looks at other people for help.

As the dinner table starts to look empty the worry of a livelihood increase even more. A call from the special investigation unit proves to be a sign of hope for him. All he needs at this time is money for his survival so when he heard that the department is going to pay him as well he readily agreed to help. Case of murder is for which he is called because there was a hint of use of some magic. Whoever the creature was according to Dresden it has sinned because it is not allowed to use magic for killing purposes.
Harry sees a new world during the investigation when he has to move between the vampires and other fairy tale creatures. The investigation gets more speed when Harry gets the hunch that the police department suspects him too.
In the voice of James Marsters, we observe a scared Harry here who is not what he described himself at the start. Peace Talks and Fool Moon are the best books written by Jim Butcher but that is until a person has not heard this mind-blowing story. At the end of this story, a person will not feel any hesitation in naming this one as the best among the rest of the works.
