Shorter in length but still more engaging than the previous three this book was produced in a lesser time for the fans who were desperately waiting for a new episode. J.L. Bourne is one of those authors who will not break your heart if you are a true fan. Day By Day Armageddon continues and it is very little the people can do about it. Many have just kept watching the entire transition in front of them until they too became a part of it.

This book is not about the people very much rather the author is trying to invest more time in the changes which are being made in the surroundings. The landscape is not what it used to be several years ago as the undead now roam the city streets and the real or normal human beings are hard to find.
Those who are still in their true form have hidden from these blood sucking parasites. Sooner or later the scent of blood will take the zombies to that fresh meat that is hiding in the basements and the world will become a place with complete darkness all around.

Humanity has finally lost its grip over the world and all the progress and prosperity has finally been lost at the hands of the undead. Don’t expect the story to change a lot in Ghost Run because neither the author nor the fans want to see any change in the theme and the developing scenario. The Zombie world is taking over everything but there is light in the form of some heroes who might be able to restore what has been lost.
