Quarterback Draw (Play by Play #9) audiobook free
While I really enjoyed this quick read and liked the HEA some of the book was a little redundant and not completely romance novel plausible. I know romance novels are dramatic and mostly unrealistic as a day time soap, but some ounce of truth must be tossed in to make the reader connect with the characters and want to continue to read. Was the book steamy? Yes. Was the steam a little over done? Yes. Honestly I do not mind the sex in a romance novel it can actually really advance the storyline, but when it is done to take up words on the page it gets a little porn-like. I would have like to see a little more plot and character development as well as a little more interaction between Katrina and her siblings. The beginning of the novel had such great dialogue and chemistry between Grant and Katrina and the siblings Leo and Ahanya were really portrayed as the teenagers they were described to be. As the story moved along the changes in Leo and Ahanya became more unbelievable , teenaged just do not change over night from surly to pleasant. It also seemed a little much for Katrina, a twenty-seven year old virgin, to become come completely okay with her new found sexuality over night. I would l have liked to see her have a little more internal struggle with her new found status. What I did enjoy was again the family element that Jaci tends to weave so completely into her stories. Overall Quarterback Draw is a good romance novel with a fun storyline and some good heart. As all good romance novels should it left me with a warm fuzzy feeling and I will be certain to continue to put this series on my list of must reads.

There\’s a hopeful air to the synopsis that pulls the reader in. > > Looking Deeper < < POV ~> Third-person For the past ten years, Katrina has had a successful modeling careering while taking on guardianship of her young brother and sister, Leo and Anya. After her dad abandoned them all and her mom passed away when she was weeks from turning 18, she did not have the time nor desire to date or fall in love. Grant is contacted to do swimwear edition photo shoot with some other athletes for a high profile magazine and gets pair up with Kat. He\’s awe-struck at first sight. Grant could be pushy and bossy, trying to charm people into giving him his way. It was not as cute as I think it was intended to be. Often, I found myself irritated by his passive-aggressive controlling nature. On the flipside of the coin, as smart and worldly as Kat was and as much responsibility as she\’s managed to shoulder over the past ten years, her ostrich technique of denying her relationship, denying her feeling and claiming to be oblivious to everything was naive and annoying. Secondary characters mainly consisted of the Cassidy family with a small Riley cameo. Leo and Anya were important pieces in the plot and made things quite enjoyable. The story was well written, flowed smoothly, had strong dialogue and believable cast interaction. Conflicts could have been avoided if they\’d opened their eyes, hearts, and minds, had better communication skills, and didn\’t fight things (or deny / fight them!) as much as they did. In the end, things seemed to have been resolved. Predictability was mild. The conclusion was presented as a HFN work-in-progress, maybe an implied HEA. Overall, it was not terrible, I just was not over-excited over the character traits of these two. . Audiobook Quarterback Draw (Play by Play #9) by Jaci Burton
I was anxiously waiting for this book since I read its first chapter in Holiday on Ice. The whole hot, sexy athlete and super sexy supermodel thing, seemed like a winner. And boy was I right! From the first moment that Grant Cassidy lays eyes on Katrina Kosova he knows that shes different. Sure shes beautiful and hot but the spark between them is instantaneous. What they share off-the-camera is even hotter. Katrina Kosovo is the it supermodel. Shes everywhere and on the cover of every fashion magazine. A true Professional, she knows how to keep her distance. But that proves to be harder than she expects when she meets superhot quaterback Grant Cassidy. Having the custody of her two teenage siblings has made her very responsible and ultra controlling. Having to raise them on her own from a very early age, shes forgotten all about having fun and letting go. Grant is just what she needs! But it seems that Grant doesnt only help her out of her shell, but he also seems to help all the Kosovo siblings.To say that the chemistry between Grant and Katrina is hot, would be to put it mildly. A dose of Grant is what every uptight woman needs 😉 I was really disappointed with the previous book of the play-by-play series. But Im glad to see that Jacis back! I love her writing and was really upset . While reading this book I kept on hoping that Jaci would write the Cassidy brothers stories next, seeing that they are all hot athletes too. I was glad to discover at the end , that the next book in the series will be Tucker Cassidys story. Too bad that I have to wait till August to read it Ive been following this series from the beginning and I just never want it to end!!!

Audio Quarterback Draw (Play by Play #9) narrated by Lucy Malone
After a slow start, I wasn\’t too sure about this book. But I actually really enjoyed it, and I really liked Grant and his family and Katrina, Leo and Anya. Who both added a bit of fun to this story. I also really liked the development of the relationship between Grant and Katrina, and how he included Leo and Anya from the very start. And if you\’re a fan of this series, you won\’t be disappointed.
