Larry Milne\’s novelization version rated one terrible. This one gets two. It is a blatant rehash of Larry Milnes \”work\”, with bizzarely added in new irrelevant characters, a complete hash of the actual dialogue from the movie, a trashing of the characters, and a huge dose of sex, to a nearly pornographic level. This book is somewhere between a distorted attempt at political correctness(?), a juvenile buttslapping wrestle, and an eroti-fantasy indulgement on the part of the author. Ghostbusters was, and still is, a blockbuster movie. A classic. What makes this author think they need to change it up?? Very frustrating. Why is it so hard to find a \”novelization\” of a movie that is true to the movie?? This author is terrible, and their production is terrible.

Being a huge Ghostbusters fan, I found out they were re-releasing the novels and I pre-ordered. So glad I did, talk about being immersed in the world of Ghostbusters.

Awesome reprint that combines both of the original novels into one book! Quality is average for a paperback and the stories seem true to the original prints from the late 80\’s. Great to have another GB book to add to the collection!

Both original movies in novel form and using the original scripts. There are scenes that are different or not in the movie, but a must have for any real fan.
